Refund Policy

This page explains how refunds work on Tournament Plus — both the platform fee you pay us, and the entry fees players pay to you.

Platform fee (the ₹499 you pay us)

The ₹499 platform fee is non-refundable once the tournament is active and its public registration page is live.

We will refund the platform fee in full if a technical failure on our side prevents your tournament from going live within 24 hours of payment. Email support@tournamentplus.in with your tournament name and we will process the refund within 7 business days.

Player entry fees

Tournament Plus is a payment facilitator: when a player pays an entry fee, the money is held by Razorpay until you initiate a payout. Refund decisions to players are yours to make as the organizer.

You can issue full or partial refunds from your dashboard at any time before payout. Refunds go back to the player's original payment method and typically arrive in 5–7 business days. Razorpay does not return the payment-gateway fee on refunded transactions.

We recommend publishing your own refund rules on the public registration page so players know what to expect.

Tournament cancellation

If you cancel a tournament after collecting entry fees, you are expected to refund the players. You can issue refunds in bulk from your dashboard. The ₹499 platform fee is not refundable in this case, since the tournament was live.

Chargebacks and disputes

If a player initiates a chargeback or dispute through their bank, Razorpay will follow its standard dispute process. You may be asked to provide evidence (registration confirmation, tournament details). Chargeback fees levied by Razorpay are your responsibility.

How to escalate

If a player believes you have not honoured a refund they were entitled to, they can email us at support@tournamentplus.in and we will help mediate.
