Privacy Policy

Tournament Plus is a product operated by Nexcrum Technologies Private Limited ("we", "us"). It comprises the website at tournamentplus.in and the related tournament-management software (the "Service"). This page explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it.

What we collect

  • Account information: name, email, phone number, password (hashed), and the bank or UPI details you submit so we can pay you out.
  • Tournament data: tournament name, dates, fee, custom registration fields, and the roster of players who register.
  • Payment metadata: Razorpay payment IDs, order IDs, payment status, and fee breakdown. We do not see your card number, UPI handle, or net-banking credentials — those go straight to Razorpay.
  • Usage analytics: anonymous pageviews and event counts via Plausible (a cookie-less, privacy-friendly analytics provider).
  • Logs: standard web-server access logs and application error logs.

How we use it

  • To operate the Service — create tournaments, accept payments, send confirmations, process payouts.
  • To send transactional email (payment receipts, payout notifications).
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and platform misuse.
  • To meet our tax, accounting, and legal obligations.
  • To improve the Service and to send you relevant product updates, offers, and marketing communications from Tournament Plus and Nexcrum Technologies. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time.

Third parties

We share data only with:

  • Razorpay — payment processing and payouts.
  • Email provider (Postmark, SES, or Resend depending on environment) — transactional email delivery.
  • Plausible — aggregate, anonymous analytics.
  • Our hosting provider — for running the Service.

We never sell your data.

Cookies

We use a session cookie when you log in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. Plausible analytics is cookie-less.

Data retention

We retain tournament and payment records for as long as required by Indian tax law (currently 7 years). Account data is retained until you ask us to delete it (we may keep payment records longer for the tax retention window).

Your rights (DPDP Act 2023)

You can:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct or update it.
  • Request deletion of your account.
  • Withdraw any consent you previously gave.
